Often times administrative fundraising staff and database managers are tasked with interrupting the needs of the entire department with out the proper insite into the overall structure of fund-raising.

This single-day workshop will provide administrative staff, database managers, and small shops with the fundamentals of fundraising that will help run 'back shop' of a development office.

Highlighting the use of Raiser’s Edge, this interactive class will outline best practices for gift processing and donor acknowledgement, prospect and donor management, and oversight of events. In addition, the participant will be introduced to the technical and common vocabulary of the fundraising field and will learn about the vital role of a database in development management.
